Owen's First Bath

I always get nervous with the first few baths of a newborn. So I always have my mom come over. Owen did great and looked so handsome after.

Owen's grand entrance into this world is bitter-sweet. We were so excited to welcome him into the world and I think he was so excited to come play with us that he came all too fast. Start to finish, I was in labor for only 4 hours. Wonderful, right? Well I enjoyed (if thats what you call it) not being in pain too long, however progressing that fast is PAINFUL. Also, because Garron was traveling, he was unable to make it home in time to see Owen born. He did make it about 6 hrs later and didnt let go of Owen for quite awhile, but he did miss it. (Details to come)

Christmas Cards

I read on a friends blog that Shutterfly.com is giving away 50 free holiday cards for those bloggers that blog about their favorite cards. Let me tell you, it was so hard to pick just 3. They have so many cute cards and fun ideas but I like that these three are simplistic yet fun. Enjoy!

If or when we get these cards, I will be sending them out for our Christmas cards. I love getting a bunch of cards and seeing our friends and family and what they are up to this year. Christmas is my favorite holiday and I cant wait to get started decorating the house!
